OM-19 is TAKAGI’s most advanced Operating Microscope with top-of-the-range visualisation suitable for the most challenging surgeries in ophthalmology. OM-19 Operating Microscope is entirely adaptable with tiltable binocular tubes and exceptional lenses for optical clarity and fine, detailed imaging quality. It offers an outstanding depth of field with a sharp view of a larger area thanks to the 10x magnification eyepieces.
The exceptional view is reinforced with two independent LED illumination light sources, each with a specific colour temperature obtaining a real-life colour reproduction. The OM-19 allows for an independent intensity adjustment of the red reflex and coaxial illumination, which is crucial in overcoming difficulties during combined surgeries.
This feature is recognised as a first-class quality bringing huge advantages during surgeries. For example, in this video during cataract surgery, the OM-19 red reflex illumination system provides a stable and bright reflected light from the fundus, enabling Surgeons to see the lens clearly during the extraction. The objective lens of 200mm also optimises the working distance during vitreoretinal surgery.
