Every year TAKAGI and Carleton Optical are pleased to support the BEAVRS training course taking place at Citylabs. This year’s workshop was organised last Friday by the British and Eire Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons (BEAVRS) for junior consultant surgeons.
During the workshop, TAKAGI operating microscopes OM-19 and OM-9 were used to teach how to perform a simulated VR surgery.
We are incredibly pleased to be involved each year in this event which aims to train and offer support through hands-on workshops and lectures. TAKAGI’s strategic location at Citylabs, next to the Royal Eye Hospital is optimal for showing our support to the eye healthcare community.
BEAVERS, as one of the most significant associations in the UK, aims to promote eye health and high-quality patient care, by offering courses such as the annual simulated VR surgery course.
A warm thank you to all the Doctors and participants for using our operating microscopes.
Looking forward to our next collaboration.
